The Uriach Group has state-of-the-art facilities for manufacturing solid and semi-solid products. More than 50% of our annual production is included in Business to Business projects. We know how important it is to offer our partners a personalised treatment, and therefore every day we make an effort to do our job well so that we can be fast, flexible and, at the same time, competitive.

We adapt to each and every one of our clients, giving them personalised attention and adjusting our processes to the requirements made by each of them. Some of the services we offer are as follows: drug characterisation and preformulation, formulation, development of production process, Process Optimisation, analysis development, preparation of clinical and manufacturing batches, manufacturing of pilot batches and packaging production.

APIs

URQUIMA, SA is the chemical product factory within the Uriach Group, and it focuses on researching, developing and manufacturing active ingredients for the pharmaceutical market. Our manufacturing plant is inspected and approved by the world's leading regulating authorities (European Union, USA and Japan). Our proactive focus and capacity to develop and manufacture using non-infringing processes, has meant that, on various occasions, several clients in the USA have been able to enjoy 6 months market exclusivity.

Generic Dossier Development

To complement the production of chemical products (AP'sI) that are manufactured in Urquima (Sant Fost de Campsentelles) and the pharmaceutical products that are manufactured in the pharmaceutical plant (Palau-solità i Plegamans), the Uriach Group has developed a growth plan that is to enhance the production of generic products aimed at the European market. Thanks to the facilities at the Group's disposal, and the fact that we have our own Chemical Plant, we can adopt a flexible and competitive market position. This capacity to adapt to the environment and its changes makes the Uriach Group the perfect partner for the generic product sector.
